I don't understand french (except things like deja vieux, c'est lavi, bon ami , bon temps rolle etc.) - but from a few translators I put your reply to suggests you are asking if I was doing a play on words(?)(pun intended?).

I had seen the film a year ago, but didn't notice the date on the post. So I start watching it and I'm thinking "I've heard this song before" and then "I've seen this film before" - deja vieux, bon ami!

Oh - I get it - the song name with "Dreams"
In English we don't neccessarily think of deja vieux as being dreamed - but I guess that would be the literal translation.
