spit 9 and turn coordinator?
« on: June 26, 2004, 11:20:02 PM »
I would like to know if the spit 9 is a) missing a turn coordinator in the game, and if so, if it based on real life. It seems all planes had a turn coordinator -- but I don't see one in the spit. taxiing is a real drag without one.

thanks, bockk

It's there; down to the right; it just has a different form.

The RAF used a slip and bank guage. Look for a dial with two needles; one pointing up; the other down. The upward pointing needles is slip (turn coordination) and should be kept at the 12 o clock positon at all times in flight; the other; downward pointing needle is the bank indicator.

Thanks Seeker! Now I may be able to taxi without scraping wings.
