I really like the new trees and all, but alot of people have yet to figure out that the trees offer no cover from other GV's that are above you and have the Ground detail range set to .5

You think your covered but in truth you're in an open field if you're over .5 in range away from someone.

Suggetions? I'd lock the ground detail range on all GV's to max. Some people will see a large drop in frame rates but as it stands now. This is total BS.

punt - this used to exist for aircraft spotting gv's - didn't make the link to gv-gv myself.

Vehicles are not displayed beyond what your ground detail slider is set to. The purpose of this is so the cover does work. Now have you seen this not to be the case?

This is why some people have reported invisible vehicles.

I was doing this just the other night to people so I know its an issue.

It was being done to me so I took the time to get ontop of a hill and see what the issue was in relation to the settings.

Even with it maxed, with me ontop of a hill, I was seen by others and couldn't see them at times. I guess I'll have to snap screens of dots outside my ground detail range settings to help you see the issue.
