Yep, my 262 found out the hard way.  I had to lose a second one before I was 100% sure, lol

I have been flying the P51D, F4U-1C, and P47D-40 and so far have seem to fly through enemy planes (well Lancasters and B17s to be exact).

Will film my next encounter with them .. several times I have dove through them, screwed up angle and expected a ram and nada.

As said will film.

LA7 in the film (fastest way to meet XJ), normally 38, f6, spit5, 110 and NEVER had any damage from flying right thru enemy planes.

It's real easy to test... I'm working 6 in a row right now, won't be back on until next week.

If indeed you had a collision in a 262, then it's only plane I've heard of... what'd you collide with?

Someone I know lost a 262 in a ram with B17s last week, forgot who though.

I've had some damn close calls that I think would have been rams in AH1, but aren't in AH2.  Not where I actually flew through the guy or saw any part of his plane in the cockpit, but situations where I was sure my wing would hit something on his plane of vice versa.

Did you watch the film? Esp on the 1st pass we were cross winged and flew straight through each other with no damage, afterwards we passed through each other a couple of times same result. I've been flying since release quite a bit and NEVER had a collision.

This shows the wings passing thru each other.........

At this point the view point is 4ft from  xttreme and 17 feet from dipstick............

makes you wonder if collision is modelled the same as bullet impact.............

here is a test.................... film your self flying thru a hanger a few times and se if your wing tip ever clips the hanger door without impact.

I have been in some nasty furballs in the last few days and I had spit V's and N1k2 go through me that would not have been possible in AH1.  On the flip side a squadie went down in the same fight due to a supposed collision.

If collision is on--it's not the same kind that AH1 had...

Collisions are on.  I dived a KI61 on some 17's.  Near verticle decent.  I messed it all up had a split second view of the bomb rack as I went through caming out underneath.  Didn't explode.  "Alive ..yeehaa" I thought untill I found my vert stab, tail all missing.

Collision are different I conclude.
