Poker for Perks

Poker for perks is seriously one of the best ideas ever!

What do you think about this?  When you go to Dueling arena you click on Roster, then you click the persons name, then click Challenge.  A new clipboard will appear and has a list of the amount of perk points to bet, type of plane, fields to take off from, fuel load, weapons load, etc. Then you click send and that person will get the list, he either clicks accept or decline.  If he accepts both planes will launch at same time and no other planes will be able to take off from those fields until duel is over.  Perks will automatically go to winner once they land.  That way you can tell people to put their perks were their mouth is.

lol why stop at poker, you could have a whole bunch of flash games in the o'club, darts, pool, other card games, the sorta thing you woulda found in a club on an airbase. They don't have to be for perks, just for the fun of it.

Why stop there? It would he AWESOME if you could walk into the O-club, sit down at a "computer" and play a flight sim!

We actually talked about this very thing last year.  It'd be fun and maybe one day it will happen, but it's hard to imagine it ever getting scheduled for development.  Maybe we'll see it one day if HT gets bored and is looking for something fun to do on weekends.

I think comparing perk points in an online game to events happening in your world might be a stretch...

PUCK, I think you misunderstood what I was tring to say.  I'm not saying people are going to hunt others down in RL.  What I meant was the mentality of people are the same reguardless of were you are.  There is alot of conflict between some players as is and it's not good for the AH community.  My fear is that more conflicts could occur.  I was being overly dramatic on purpose to make a point.  But I also feel that most players in AH are mature enough that the bad attitude would not be that wide spread.  I find from my experience that most of these kinds of behaviour come from the youthful offenders.

If te system was set up right we could redirect all whining to /dev/null and ignore the whiners.  Come to think of it, we could give the whiners their own BBS group so we could entertain ourselves at their expense.
