If it is "necessary" how can it be "evil?"
How do you convince a dependant class, whether it is white, black, hispanic, elderly or whatever, that it is no longer "necessary?"
What type of "litmus test" will be used to determine when racism no longer exists, and therefore these entitlement programs can be done away with.
It's almost impossible to end them once they're in place. The only event that could terminate them would be the bankruptcy of the Federal Government. There is little doubt that Social Security will go belly up within the next 30 years. My two sons will pay through the snoot to keep it afloat but will probably never draw a dime of it in their old age.
That's because these programs, despite their avowed purpose, depend on their support on two of the oldest human emotions...envy and greed. As a result, these programs are inevitably corrupted, and subvert the very purposes for which they were created.
