I use TM Cougar HOTAS, with über2 gimbal replacement and Hall sensor kit.

I never had the "...rapidly" msg with the stock/default TM Cougar either.

Basically speaking a snap roll occurs when the lift is much less on one wing than it is on the other. ie one wing stalls.
I know with my RC aircraft...Snap rolls can be done at high speed and at low speed.. Low speed snaps are much more E-Taxing than are the high speed ones because at low speed once the snap is complete...the speed is so close to both wings stalling that it you are flying on the Prop untill enough airspeed is re-gained to keep both wings flying. At high speed a snap still stalls a wing..but the sped is such that when the snap is complete...you energy isnt so much absorbed by the wings trying to re-gain lift. Shees i hope i explained that clearly. LOL
I know what i mean...just hope yall do. :D

"Do not move controls so rapidly"

For those that get this message your solution is to adjust the DEAD BAND.  You may have to do it on all AXIS.  Go offline to find out if just 1 axis is causing the problem. Flying at say 2k wiggle stick up and down  then side to side to see which axis send the dreaded message.

TIP :-  I tend to inadvertantly put in rudder when banking with me twisty stick so I tightened up my rudder axis to compensate.
