Well known RAF pilot and ace, Sailor Malan on the right.  Looks like he'd reached Group Captain status by the time of the photo.

No clue on the man he is talking to.

Malan postwar was very active in the anti apartheid movement in South Africa but died from Parkinsons Disease in 1963

They didn't fly from England.  Possibly a Nigerian or Rhodesian pilot flying with the RAF?
