Can someone tell me what Dick Cheney brings to the table to the average voter. (Idiot)

Most people see this guy as sinister, big business.

I know he is very smart and very savvy, but perhaps it would behoove Bush to select a running mate that will...oh I don't know...get him re-elected?

Rudy Giuliani, though Italian Descent and I believe Chrisitian would add votes in my opinion.

John McCain would lock up the election for Bush.

Agreed.  It's about the only way the current administration can regain it's lost credibility and integrity.   I intend, at this point in time, to write in McCain on my ballot regardless.

if you like "anything" that has happened in the Bush admin then you can thank Cheney.  He is the brains of the outfit.  Get rid of Cheney then all you have is a denuded Bush.
