I spent a few hours the other night walking Sixth Street in the rain showers and dropped in at The Old Pecan Street Cafe for a steak and a few beers. I ended up staying there till they closed and had a few drinks with the guys who worked there. Then got to walk around and hit some bars there with those guys and saw and met some nice Texas women but none can compare to the Alabama beauty I came home to today.
BTW I may start looking for a job in the Austin area and move the family out there just to have a fresh start in life. Things are getting sort of stale here in Alabama. Who knows its 1:00 am and I have had a long day with delayed flights and plenty of Petrone/Patron (who really knows how its spelled?) and Killians sitting in airports.
Any way now that I am back I will be getting things in gear and starting July 5th I will have nearly two weeks of being free of kid
AAA and wife AAA.
