Well, I can see why it is irritating to you. All you hear nowadays is this issue. But there is a reason-- its monumental. This issue has divided this country in 2 halves. And yes it has got me a little riled myself. I think it is a testement that there is no absolutes in this country. All is subjective, to include truth itself.

And of coarse this topic needs to be in another forum.

A little political humor if I may. I hope this is not in bad taste.

During the campaigns, both Bush & Gore made their statements on the issue of sex and violence on tv. Bush said that there was too much blood on television, Gore said there was too much sex, especially frontal nudity.

The short version. Bush said there was too much gore. Gore said there was too much bush.

I don't mind occasional political stuff on channel 1, but tonight it was nutso, the buffer moving 90 miles per hour, conservatives vs. liberals.
People getting pissed off, etc. etc.

I give a guy a <S> for a great fight and its instantly swallowed and taken out of view within 5 seconds by political rhetoric.
I make a comment about too much politics on the buffer and some tard calls me a liberal.

I could actually envision in my mind 50 guys slobbering on their monitors, typing like nuts thinking they're saving the world in the MA kill buffer.

Where does it end?

I log into the MA to fly, not to debate, or to read other peoples debates.

BTW, ammo, that lil phrase that I put into the open channel was a joke meant for my squad channel. I'm not that tasteless.

My vote for two new profanity filter words are "ectothermodermagobulous" and "gyrogrithiculatiator"

I wouldn't mind seeing some of the hate speech blocked by the filter too.  There are some bigots who get way out of line on ch1.

DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

Actually this is dead on topic, thats why I put it here, it has to do with the aces high main arena, and is as general discussion as it gets, IMO.
