To make the AI controlled guns on fleets either turn off all together or to weaken their damage significantly?

I have tried all the setting in the arena settings that I thought had a remote possability of affecting the fleets guns and nothing I did made any difference at all, i usually die in the f6f from 2 pings, its friggin retarded.
