It isn't European food at all - it's Indian (although it has been Anglisized I should think). 'Jalfrezi' means 'Dry Fry' and is basically your standard curry sauce with tomatoes, red peppers (although I prefer both to be in there) and chopped chilis. There's always a large dose of coriander as well. Here's a picture:

Turkey and cranberry? Nice. We only have Christmas for that kind of thing - I think we should get more holidays like that. We work too hard in this country - all the other Europeans work much less hours and still have the same standard of living.
