Curious, alone on the 4th?

anyone alone today? (noone to celebrate with)

myself i am, live alone, father lives 1000 miles away, mother has passed, step father and his family are together and i dont always fitr in there.

have a half sister living in town, and supposedly she's comming by but as of now i still havent heard from here, buddies all have wives, and they are out doing the family thing.

so here i sit debating if i should go get a 12'er or not.. nothgin else to do.


just curious if anyone else is in that position?

Im home today, didnt want to go with the woman camping along with the family. July 4th is the worse weekend to go. Everyone says they go to get away yet 1/3 the population makes the trip. No thanks. Hot, dirty,and crowded is not my kinda fun.

I myself am having a party and if you lived close by I'd definatly invite you.  Right now my ribs are soaking with a delightfully spicy yet sweet concoction that I just threw together and I'm getting a little PRE-COOKING/KEG inspiration by watching the movie The Patriot!

Happy 4th go get snockered and watch some fireworks.

Was gonna go visit my parents, but I had to fill in for a couple hours at work today.  Plan now is to watch the Sox/Cubs game and grill out.

So much to do - the world is your oyster.  Great day to go watch a baseball game, go to the horse track, or play some golf, then stop in at the local watering hole, eat some ribs, and check out the babeage.  Eat and drink, having fun with all the others singles.  GET OFF YOUR prettythang and DO SOMETHING FUN.
 
Someday you will be married, have kids whining they have to go poop, getting mosquito bites, waiting for the fireworks to start, thinking, "I remember when I met this fine looking blonde on the 4th of July...a long time ago...that's her, my wife"

so my "sister" came over (dad's second marrige)

she and her BF, and his buddy and GF.

20 min into showin them the new apt, she asks "am i cool'????

being outta touch i say yeah im cool with whatever,







BIG mistake, make them leave to parking lot to smoke their dope, (i AM the stpe child of the dmn village president ((mayor for you that dont knwo)))


all went soo downhill form there it's not worth mentioning.

Tell your sister to stop hanging out with loser's who smoke dope.  You did the right thing kicken em out AND you show how much you really care about her.  Don't let em get ya down.  Sounds like they got that "young and stupid" disease.
