looking at K/D someone with a K/D of 3.0 is for example 3rd placed with that ratio while my KD is 11,5 i'm placed 11th on that

Strange

not that i care really much u never see me in the top 10

for that u have to game the game and i do suk in gv's anyhow .

Tried i tiger got shot with 1 shot from somebody at 3.0- 5.0 miles out ill never learn that.

for the gv war u just need to be very lame
(spawn camp and stuff)

anyway the score works only for potatos.

cheer up... all you need to do to get your "props" is to be a little more aggressive in that 38 of yours.

The rank of each catagory is only updated once a day.

Bug, as you obviously know the ranks are determined by how well you do in each category, but fighter rank itself is determined by how you rank in each area (kills per death, kills per sortie, kills per hour, gunnery, and score). K/D you seem to be doing well with. Your K/S is coming along nicely. Your K/H need improvement. Your gunnery is fair. Your points could be improved upon.

Kills per hour can be helped along by not climbing so high, and not attacking a lone con in a remote sector (not saying you are).

In gunnery, show a little more patience (hard, I know).

Your points can be improved by killing more buffs (particularly goons, I believe).

Add up the result of each area and the total is compared to other pilot's total for rank in that category.

There is one misperception that I can try to clear up very quickly. The furball mentality does not always result in high fighter scores.

BUG

I just checked your stats.
The score computer is impressed with how many kills you get for each time you die.
It’s not impressed, however, with how much time you spend climbing and running and accordingly has ranked you as a sissy in kills per time.

again i flew alone over hordes of rooks who can depend on their buds

99 of my time there is none else who helps
and u can't run from all in a p38

call it sissy almost 1 kill in 10 minutes compared in rl .. well

could get more on vulchin i guess

its just says nothing

there is none that survives 20 kills an hour in the middle of a furball

be realistic

to score u have to study the system and game on that

i play my own "tarding" gaming

It's not about living, unless you can live AND get lots of kills fast with a preference for stopping ordinance in buffs from getting past you. You don't have to furball, either. The best route to go is probably ignoring rank. Play the game your way, get a firm handle on the plane of your choice, and gradually make things tougher on yourself. Sure you'll die (it's nothing you're not doing now), but you'll learn, too.

i really don't care about score only K/D concerns me

With my 2 kids here i don't have time to exploit the score system because of my limited time.

As far as I know the number of points scored has absolutely nothing to do with what kind of plane you kill, or what kind of plane you kill in.

I know you get "bonus points" for landing, so if you want to increase your points total either A.  spend more time flying (which leads to more points from more kills) or B. Land all your kills.

Actually the scoring system is as balanced as I think it possible.  It works kind of like the government, with each category cancelling out the other categories.

For example, someone who fights a lot will have a higher K/T, but lower K/D.

Someone who flies very cautiously may rack up an incredible K/D, but their K/T will suffer accordingly.

K/S can be an indicator of how "busy" the area you tend to fly in is, although there can be a backlash because often you'll be flying without support in an area with 50 cons.  Nobodies K/S is going to be high then, because the lone plane will either not engage at all, or get one guy and get swamped.  The horde obviously won't score many kills, since the entire goal of the horde is to avoid fighting.

Accuracy will come with time in the new version, my accuracy has plummeted.

it was in an la7 not a niki, wasn't a HO, either. still your bnz style is merely run of the mill.  which is why you're relatively  "unknown".  snicker.

I said it before & I'll say it again & again.
If you play a game with emphasis on numbers, points, rank, perks, ratio's, kills perks, bonus points and the like,  you will always have a game as such.  Period!
