S-U-C-K-E-D, man what a borefest.  I'm glad I just downloaded it instead of spending $6.50 to see it.  On a positive note though, at least it made Spiderman 2 seem less crappy by comparison.

Do you recommend Spiderman 2? (haven't seen it, but planning to)

Got it from Bittorrent, horrible cam version.  I wouldn't recommend Spiderman 2 unless you brought a crossword or something else to do in between the fighting scenes.  Even then, I wouldn't feel right about sending someone to watch it.

Yes F911 did suck.  Saw the same version you did.  OTOH I liked Spiderman 2.  I thaught this one actually had a decent storyline and the fight scenes were good.

I think the only thing that would make me see another Spiderman movie is the Newspaper Chief, the scenes with him were outstanding.

Thanks for the 'heads-up' on Spiderman 2...

Out of curiousity: do you still have Drive-In movies in the States?

We used to have them here, but over the past many years they have all but disappeared. I don't know why? I used to love going to the drive-in; It was a great way to spend a summer evening, and they were always packed!

There's still a few drive ins floating around.  I remember seeing "Star Wars: empire strikes back" at the drive it and it was AWSOME!

Usually a developer can make more money using the land for a shopping mall or housing than showing movies for four or five months a year.

Funny you should mention it, xr, I saw Spiderman 2 at the drive-in.  Not many left in the states, but curiously there's two in a 40-mile radius of Salem.  We didn't stay for the second movie that played that night, which was White Chicks...Yikes!

Saw a review of Spiderman 2 a few days ago. The guy said it was the best superhero movie ever made.

Go figure.

I'm trying to coerce my wife into seeing Spidy 2 because I reckon it looks great....but it'd have to be fanbloodytastic to be better than Superman 1, or Burton's Batman movies

I saw that too, maybe it boosted my expectations too high.  I'm not sure what this guy was smoking.

I went with my 6 year old daughter to see Spiderman 2 this weekend and we had a blast.
