Famliy is home but I was standing "Watch" at work, cuz there are still planes up....

today too,

wierdest shift rotation I ever worked, Eve <1400 - 0000>, Eve <1200 - 2200>, Day <0600 - 1600>, then a Mid <0000 - 1000>

of course I do get a 100 hours off a week.

Yea, my wife is under no illusions.  She wanted to clean the house herself before leaving but I told her to forget it knowing this would be a waste of time and that I would be going nuts getting the place ready before she returned.

So...the place was a mess the day she left anyway.  This way it will be nice for her to come home to a spotless house.

I actually started the job yesterday...out of necessity.  I went to grab some bread out of the fridge and the plastic bag was stuck to the shelf.  Something had spilled and was all over the shelves and underneath the lower drawers.  I removed everything and cleaned out the entire thing.  Looks brand spanking new now.  The wife will be pleased.

Irony is, had it not been stuck: "and grab a couple slices of bread here, etc".  :p
