What's the fastest you have done on a highway in either a car or on motorcycle? (either driver or passenger)

For me it would be a friends brothers Barracuda going north on Hwy#400. I can freely admit I didn't enjoy it. I was in the back seat and white knuckled all the way:) The fastest reading I saw on the speedo was 130mph.

I probably would have enjoyed it if I had been driving!

Driver: I know a 2002 Explorer will hit 105 without the limiter kicking in.

That had it all, Twin turbos, AWD, 4 wheel steering (at higher speeds).  Held the benchmark on R&T's skidpad for about 4 years.  never been in one though.

I carpooled with a friend that owned one. It was a nice ride until we went offroading in it.

Now THIS is living on the edge. Older Mustangs had horrible handling (or at least my '66 certainly did).

Just over 150 mph on my Bandit 1200 going up the 14 to Mojave.

....and old ladies in pickup trucks were still trying to pass me.  Everyone drives fast on the 14.

* clarified for Nilsen

145 MPH on 476S.  944 Turbo.  Sustained average speed of 120ish for 30 minutes.

Not the brightest thing I ever did.
