What goes around comes around.. Both are now better than ever.

Great new issue of Hot Rod about the "revival" of the muscle car... Bad news is that pristene original numbered cars are in the 50k-2 million dollar range but...

Good news is that clones and build ups are easier than ever and... fairly cheap and it is NOTHING to have a pump gas chevelle big block with air conditioning and 500hp that will stop and handle with the best off the showroom today and... NOTHING gets attention or sounds like these things and nothing lays down a scary patch of burning rubber like em.. A time capsule that is an E ticket ride (60's disneyland for you kids).

Revolvers are back and better than ever... 12 oz 357 and 8 shot 357.... more 44's than you can shake a stick at and 480's and 454's.... they outshoot the semi autos and they are alllmost as fast... faster for the first shot . peacmaker clones are everywhere and sports for revolvers are jumping up... the most popular shooting sports right now are exclussivly or inclussivly revolver ones..

life is good.

Gonna load my 69 big block elky up with revolvers and go shooting friday.. High tech revolvers and 6 speed big blocks... I am certainly gonna enjoy it while I can.

"Pump gas" ?

I'm unfamiliar with the term.

pump gas is the gas that you buy at the pump as oppossed to racing gas or octane boosted or blended gas. Even the old muscle cars couldn't run on todays gas but... the new ones that are twice as reliable and put out 50% more HP will run on the current stuff sold at the pumps today that 60's lawnmowers would ping on "back in the day"

I am even starting to see more kickstart Harleys. Might dust off the old trouble head.....

ah lazs,50000k to 2mil. in 1987 i totally rebuilt a 1970 dodge charger 440 from ground up.took 2 an a half years sold it during the depression in ca, in 1994 for 8000.00.....now I know what the song crying over u means lol

Saw a new GTO today, I thought it was an Acura at first or something. Too much traffic to try to race him though.

You are far more likely to see an old GTO as the star of a movie or commercial than a new one... The newer cars simply lack any personality or appeal... they don't stand out... they all look pretty much the same. accura or GTO ? hell... I wouldn't know... I couldn't tell an accura from a geo even. Who cares anyway?

In the article they were talking to the big parts manufacturers and they were saying that the "tuner" trend was going down the toilet. Wheel manufacturers are making money on the old torque thrust Americans and Hallibrand clones.

The "tuner" car mags are going down the tubes.

I own 2 65 Rags and 1 HT:) I am starting the restoration of one rag in September now that my new house has land and a 2 car garage AND 2 car ports! I just sold the trip set up for the 65 rag, I don't like the performance with them, Unless you want to constantly reajust the watermelon every other stop light. I smashed up my van so the Goats are all i have left, I drive the HT everyday to and from work... AHHHH life is good!

So total my 3 cars =117 years old, unless you use gunman42 math then they are 107 years old, STUPID!!!!

I hear ya. Hell the new GTO is based on some Aussie car.
GM screwed the pooch on the GTO, they shoulda hired whomever is designin' cars for MOPAR to create a eye catchin' distinctive street rod.

My wife usally shakes her head and rolls her eyes as I get all excited over a classic I see rollin' down the road, and she seems a bit amazed that I can call out the year, make & model, I told her more than once it isn't hard to do with the 50's, 60's, 70's and even early 80's, but after that I'm pretty much confused by the sameness of them all.
