Sorry to hear of your back.
But look at the brite side.
If a TV that heavy fell on your kid and all he got was some stitches, Your lucky it coulda been ALOt worse.

In the future remember. Lift with your legs and not your back. And hold the object close to your body when you do lift

By lifting the wrong way you can be putting as much at ten times the amount of stress on your back as the weight you are lifting
If you hold out a 20 LB weight away from your body You are putting 200 LBS of stress on your back
Death is no easy answer
For those who wish to know
Ask those who have been before you
What fate the future holds
It ain't pretty

you need a smaller TV

as for your back, when i was a auto tech i would put my back out allot ( watch mr macho pick up a trany all by himself), i always went to a chiropractor, they fixed me up quick, no drugs, no knives, but of course thats just my opinion.

I'll drop you an email in about a month when I get my AMD xp 3200.  I have an XP 1900 that was given to me by a squad member.  It only seems right that I give it to another flyer instead of selling it on Ebay.

Not sure if that's fast enough for ya.  A MOBO to run that will only cost you $30 or so....couple that with a gig of RAM and a 9800XT and you should definatly be in business.  Good luck

before you go under the knife check out the surgion and get a second opionion.

My mom blew out a disk falling.

It is now 10 plus years later and she had surgery 12 2 years ago, the first surgeon ****ed up. Really badly. His fussion was wrong and caused other disks to go bad.

This is a big deal get a second opionon and find out about the doc before you go under the knife. A bad surgeon will make it worse.

Well that evening when we got back from the ER and tried to settle down...the TV was still on the floor.  Well I got a strong North Carolina wooden end table and decided it would surfice as a TV stand. I kinda forgot that when we first got the TV it took 4 people to get it up on the stand. That was 3 years ago before I was a MAW... well I tried by myself to lift it up, no way. got the wife and my 13 year old Daughter to make an attempt to get in on the stand.  Well we got it up there, felt it pull in my back seeing as how I put most of the muscle into it. Hurt just a tad.
Next morning I woke up screaming in pain..could barely move without pain bringing me to my knees. called in and cancelled work, maybe it's just a 24 hr pain.  No way! was out Friday also, made a Dr. appt and crawled in to her office a shot in the arse and 2 scripts of pain pills then off to the main clinic downtown for xrays.  In the meantime I was doing the fistfull of painpills with no relief. Cant sleep on back or sides, been sleeping in LZ Boy chair. Funny thing with the water pills for Diabetes and 3am gotta pee..
I know what zombies feel like, screaming and moaning...

Sorry to hear about that awmac. Hope your feeling better soon.

:lol

You blew your back out, been in screaming agony for days, require surgery but  the worst part is that you can't get your upgrade done.

if that isn't a helluva came review...I dunno what is.
