I've been having a blast in there. It made me run over to the stats page and see how the F4u-1D was holding up so far this tour:

The F4U-1D has 4016 kills and has been killed 3926 times.

Sniff... brings a tear to my eyes

I wish Aztec! But I haven't noticed any points for them on there at all. Seems like the fun of shooting down the TBM's is reward enough. Not to mention helping to save the fleet.

When I logged off at about 11pm est there were 207 folks in the MA alone. Niiiiiiice

I have yet to see under 200 people during the evenings U.S Time zone...to think that this game is slightly over a year old! Can you imagine what it will be like, by, say, June?

There is a pull-down menu on the score page. I simply selected tour 12 on that page.

Did you guys know the F4u-1D is now the 3rd most used aircraft in AH? Trailing closely behind the N1K2. Of course the F4u-1C is kicking everyone's ass... but that can be cured.

Actually.. this was incorrect.

The F6F has also been used more than the F4u-1D:

The F6F-5 has 5862 kills and has been killed 6690 times.

And what does lack of carrier capability do to the most flown plane in AH?:

The Spitfire Mk IX has 2826 kills and has been killed 2942 times.

One thing is for sure... the F4u-1C being a carrier capable aircraft needs to be re-evaluated. I think that its guns, with the combination of being carrier capable, make it just too ideal of an option. Make it land based only and see if it gets similar usage to the N1K2:

The N1K2 has 5315 kills and has been killed 4312 times.
