I've always been kind of curious about something. Is it normal to be "different handed" when it comes to rifles vs pistols?

I don't have much experience with either, but the only time I fired a rifle I held the stock to my right shoulder and fired. When I pick up a pistol, it "feels" more natural to use my left hand, if that makes any sense at all.

I have always fired a rifle or pistol right handed. I also write and play golf right handed but throw a football, softball, bowl left handed. I haven't had the Glock long and haven't fired it left handed yet. This thread caused me to realize I should try that as it fits my left hand better and I had no problem doing some trial aiming.

Wood drys out, metal corrodes, plastic is forever.

I do like the feel of my mostly metal Beretta better.

I'm right handed and left eye dominant. To make it worse I couldn't independantly close my left eye due to an old injury untill I trained myself to do it by using my whole face...
