For donations you can contact Tom Dawson, B-29 Project Manager, at 206-764-5700 directly or go to the Adopt-a-plane webpage at:
http://www.museumofflight.org/visit/contribute/adoptaplane.html

The adopt-a-plane is alittle out of my price range! But, you can make smaller donations by calling Tom Dawson after 9pm PST Mon-Friday.

Thanks for the pics Ripsnort.  I've been wanting to see my fav plane in person for so long.  I've been following Yellow 10's restoration on another website, and now it's out for display!  I'll have to take my first visit to Washington state one of these days.  Maybe I can hope for a TDY since we can't afford to go on a trip right now :(.

Depends on traffic. Sunday morning it takes 30 min. :) Usually about 45 min around 2pm week days.

The P51 is not real, (a model used as a place holder) and the 109 is a composite.

It is a nice addition, but I wish the FW could have been put in there too.

I knew about the P-51, but are you sure about that 109E?

http://www.museumofflight.org/collections/champlindisplay.html?ID=126

In 1972, Douglas Champlin began looking for a restorable Bf 109 for his collection. After several fruitless searches, he acquired a Spanish-built Hispano HA 1112 and reconfigured it as closely as possible to the original. Locating a Daimler-Benz DB 601 engine and associated cowling proved impossible, so a DB 605 was substituted.

Modification work was undertaken by Art Williams in Germany. This included not only the engine change, but also redesign of the wingtips and other related items.

The Champlin Collection Bf 109 was manufactured in Germany during 1942 or 1943. It is thought to be one of the original batch of twenty-five aircraft supplied to Spain. All instrumentation is German, and of the identifiable Spanish-manufactured parts, many appear to be identical to the original German versions.
