Took me awhile to get these up...fabulous job by the staff, volunteers, and contributions to add to an already excellent museum. My pictures do the lighting effect no justice, you have to see this in person (Picks of kids were taken during the Apollo 11 workshop)

Any old JG2 from AH still around? Remember these?

Hey Rip,
Air Warrior had its last con in Seattle and Yoj, one of the guys hosting got us a tour of the place. Some Boeing employees were restoring a B29. Are you familar with that project, if so hows it working out?

They've moved it off Boeing field and into a hangar for final restoration phase. (I noticed they've also moved the B-47 that sat out front too)

They've still got alot of work to do on her and if you know of anyone in the area willing to help out, you can take parts home and work on them in your spare time. Usually a drill press and metal saw are helpful.

$$ is always needed too, as this is strictly all-volunteer and donations for restoration (Boeing contributes some $$ as well as hangar, but that doesn't cover all costs) Stoney might have some more updated information too. I posted some interior pics of the B-29 you speak of a few months back.

Like I said in my original post, the pics do the lighting no justice, you'll just have to come in person to see it. If you do, ring me up, I'm a member and can get you in no charge.

We have same in RAF museum Battle of Britain hall, its very dark in there, adds to the atmosphere though, especially with the Defiant, Ju88 and 110 night-fighters!
