I want me a JS that has rudder pedals/an 8-way hat that is good at holding calibration and that will last for atleast a year. Anybody know?

Get a full CH setup and be happy.
It will probably outlast you.

How much resistance does the yoke have? Can I put up a good fight in a fighter with it?

I have used the CH Flight Sim Yoke with the P-38 and have scored quite a few kills. It works nicely. I just dont like the placement of the throttle, makes it difficult to adjust in the middle of a dogfight.

Yeah I saw that on CHProducts.com when I was looking for resistance on the yoke.
