Fester never tried to scam anyone nor to my recollection ever claimed to be a CIA pilot flying F-16s over Iraq, scoring two MiG kills, getting shot down and taken POW and then escaping only to get a bout of brain cancer followed by a near death heartattack induced by a red scorpion sting all the while trying to scam people out of their hard earn cash.  Oh yeah, forgot to add that Fester never claimed to own a P-51D or a Bf109E.

eh  It's all still out there on Usenet if you use Google and look for Hinds and Voss (for starters)    I even have interviews with this dirtbag and the subsequent Combatsim articles, including the screenshots, which I saved from years ago.
Nothing beats the P-51 pic he "created" with photoshop to back up one claim he made for himself though.

Well, I'm back. Yes, cancer was a bear, but I'm over it (I hope forever).
  Many of you lost faith in my goal (of putting out the sim - TAS) when my
reputation came under fire. Don't worry, I'm still the cold blooded,
heartless killer I always was. I'll be returning to every arena available
very soon. Yes, my wing is still with me and we'll be reassembling the
squadron as well. We fly Mustangs, and Mustangs only. If you care to vent
your hatred upon me, we all await the hoards (we'll rack up tons of kills).
  On the flight sim creation topic; yes, I'll be doing that again too. TAS
is gone forever though. A recent release has included nearly everything we
discussed on the TAS BBS, but no hard feelings. I'll make the final product
even better, and encompass even more of period life. You'll love it.
  But, we're still a LONG way off from seeing anything. I have a new
partner, and we're just now working out the business plan. Once we have the
funds, you will see many and varied flight sim products in release. Right
now I'm still assembling tools, but we have a plan, a goal, and an approach.
We WILL be successful.

You betcha he would! I forget the exact statistic, but something like 95% of all criminals who get away with a crime go on to repeat it, so it's just a matter of time before he strikes again. Just the fact that he is even capable of perpetrating such an ellaborately woven scheme speaks volumes about his character or lack thereof. Obviously he has no moral inhibitions whatsoever. Interesting post...kinda pointless with no proof isnt it? Lotta people takin sides of an unproven issue if ya ask me. When people accuse Fester of cheating isnt the classic Aces High response from fester to "post the film or S*F*"  Seems ironic that this post about fraud and deception comes without a shred of proof. Many people who read the boards dont have extensive history with this isssue. Bashing someone in this degree would surely require some evidence..at least as much as would be expected from calling someone a "cheater" on channel one. Im just sayin.....

Lol Westy, exactly! A sociopath like Voss can't help himself, his ego demands he gloat over his exploits, it was only a matter of time until he made this post. It is alot like the serial murderer or rapist that taunts the police with cryptic clues as to his identity, a part of him wants to get caught.
