I Fly A8s and have ditched several times. I assume you mean gear up?
1 or 2 notches of flaps, hold the flair until stall and its settles right in.

With these two, gear up and already stopped in the ground, the wings start hitting the ground violently left then right and so until disintegration of the plane.
