Traveling to Europe...
« on: July 14, 2004, 03:43:54 PM »
Well before anyone jumps in with a political agenda, just asking for some suggestions on things I should catch, its my first time.

1) Barcelona, Spain
2) Marselle, France
3) Villefranche(Nice), France
4) Livorno(Florence/Pisa), Italy
5) Rome, Italy
6) Naples, Italy

If you've been I'd greatly appreciate any special detours to not miss out on.

You just got yourself a sightseeing flight in Barcelona :)

When are you coming?

Daniel

EDIT: From the cities you are visiting, I'd say you are taking a cruise, right?

I leave tonight 12:05am, get into Madrid at 2pm, then fly to Barcelona, and arrive at 5:10pm. I board the boat on the 17th, around 2.. So I'll have all of Friday, but I think in the evening, I have a dinner with some friend of family.

I'd be extremely thrilled to go on a flight of Barcelona; just the flight alone would be crazy!

Edit: shoot me an e-mail, gregdiaz@aol.com if this will be possible.

If you can Go to Capri either from Sorrento or Naples.  You must go to the Blue Grotto!!!!

It's the world's biggest tourist trap but well worth the fleecing.

Have Fun!!! Southern Europe is a blast!!!

Yup got to see the Blue Grotto.. pretty impressive.

Btw Cyrano I really really really ..... really wanted to go on the trip, and I appreciated the offer. I was occupied with pleasing the group, and sticking together.

Also,

They weren't thrilled with the idea that you're a friend via an online flight sim. I don't want to infer anything, its just how they felt. I honestly felt comfortable after seen your photo, I would've been thrilled to go.

Thanks again for the tips,

Back home in one piece... well some what... my wallet has a few holes.

Aargh, too bad you're not in Villefranche by the end of August, I'll be there for a week then ... well, not Villefranche, but close.

There's nothing to see in Luxemburg except for banks... no need to make a detour here ;)
