one thats over 2 years old now ...
mabye soon HTC will let users make skins, i sure hope so
the 64 total tiles available for terrain in eaw sure help too

and trust me, it runs a whole lot faster than AH (tho ah has better flight models for sure)

yeah thats a nice pic hblair, but u notice how u can't have a nice 190 winter camo to go with the terrain? or that you only have 5 base textures to use?

I'll take the AH flight model. The eye candy will steadily come as the game progresses. How bout those EAW cockpits?

EAW actually runs slower than AH on my cii566 128mb ram geforce SDR.

And the graphics when down low, ew.

Don't get me wrong; I am an ex EAW'er.

Zig's point is well made though.

Not if you run EAW from your hard disk using a CD emulator Santa.

Dont understand a thing of that Santa, EAW is very economic with CPU and graphics performance. I ran it at 1280 on my K6 300 Banshee with no problems (except hurting eyes). A thing suddenly occurs to me.. Santa are you sure you have patched it to version 1.2?
Graphics down low??? Its simply amazing in EAW, never forget the 1v1´s I had with Cavalear, where we zigzagged between radarmasts and trees and farmhouses. Its also fantastic to attack a train in EAW you can allmost smeel the smoke when roar past it at low alt. You probably gotta set ground detail to "high" Santa.

Only things I dont like in EAW is the scriptet flightmodel, its a realistic and hard FM in full realism but its a bit oldfashioned compared to warbirds and AcesHigh. On the other hand the FM´s and gunnery are perfectly balanced in EAW. Only a very good shot can do a Headon kill in EAW, so if you want to avoid headons you can do it. Also blackout defensive is impossible in EAW because you go from blackout to G-loc if you yank too hard with stick. I would like to invite HiTech or Pyro to a multiplayer session in EAW, to show em how good the multiplayer gameplay actually is in EAW. Eh.. and then offcourse the historical cockpit with Metric gauges and bullitcounter only in the planes that actually had those.

Dang if only I had maintained my EAW skills I would challenge the whole bunch of ya for a 1v1
Santa & Zigrat do you fly EAW online? Would like to have a little session with ya som time. I could never go back to fly EAW on a regular basis though. I tried a while ago but the scriptet stalls chased me right back to AcesHigh.

Zigrat, since you're an EAW fan, I think you'll like my upcoming terrain.
