hell skuzzy i stoped asking if the individuale in question was cheating like 50 post ago, what i was asking is, is there a problem with this uplugging modems thing... i think i have the right to know or is this not the place to ask this question either...

im just a guy who loves the game and request's a answer

ps not accusing anyone of cheating in this one just asking a question:confused:

PLanes disappearing reappearing happens rarely but it does rear it's ugly head once in a while..It isn't someone cheating..It's a connection/packet loss problem...I have filmed it too and sent film to HTC..They said thnx and for the most part fixed it..that was some time ago..AH2 is new game with new probs..Post bugs in bug forum and they get fixed.

I've been here scince the first beta.

In that time I have seen/heard of preciscely 2 instantces of real cheating.

1 was a B17 with endless bombs.
1 was a P51 with both endless bombs & endless troops.

Both were dealt with within a HOUR of when they showed up in main.

Since then while I have heard of some strange occurnances, and seen a few. NOTHING that can not be explained by packetloss/connect problems.

As for the pulling the cable trick on your modem, try it. You'll disco, die, whoevers closest will get a proxy kill.

Don't believe me, try it yourself.

Last, talk of cheating & suspicion of same ruins peoples reputations and solves nothing. It also gets more people thinking that maybe THEY could do it.
Best to keep it off the boards, off the main channel in main. Film it, send it to HTC, and let it go.

After hearing about this cable modmem "cheat" for some time, I tried it using two different cable modems.  I tried jiggling the wire, and the reset button.  Both caused me to disco, and gave the kill to my squaddie (was in the DA at the time to test the theory).

Ghost is 100% correct here.

You forgot that "Cloak" guy. Invisible planes, GV's.

Pretty sure he was also summarily dealt with too ;)

That was a hardware exploit that got addressed,  thats why we have the udp/ tcp switching now in the game.
i still have one of those magic boxs laying around ... and a few others I know are still using them ... but Guess what .... They dont work in AH2 muhahahahaa .
