I was the 1st person on CV20. It was headed NE towards 28. I tried to alter course but was unable to do so which bothered me as no name was showing as to who was in command of it. While waiting for it to get closer to 28, I encountered an enemy CV coming SE. I put it out on country channel but nobody seemed to concerend about CV20 at this point. I proceeded to sink the enemy CV and cruiser and then waited to get in range of 28. began shelling 28 town,, another bishop whos name escapes me upped fromcv and helped at 28. The party grew to about 8/10 of us and were successfull in de-acking town and field, destroying town, ordenance, fuel and proceeded to cap field. We were about to launch LVT's when Commander Gilligan decided that the CV was now in grave danger and needed to be moved ASAP. No cons, no ammo for cons.. none in sight yet its in danger. Id like to know how its in danger at a dead field but not whem an enemy CV is 9,000yds away from it and shooting? Needless to say 28 was never captured. Personally, I dont mind someone moving a CV but at least extend the courtesy of letting people know, especially when it was being used to attack a base. I dont care what Rank anyone is.... yes, rank has its privlages and there well earned but with rank comes respect and courtesy too!
One last note, I myself apologize for any comments I made when the poop began to hit the fan.
Thank you
