that's trully gay.

I dont know.Someone taking the time to level a base to the point of it being ready to take and then someone deciding its time to play hide the CV again, thats kind of gay too.
I recall about 3 years ago when this all started.I was bish, and the bish got it all rolling.Thats who started the hide the cv game.It was gay then and its gay now.Other countries started doing the same and now its just one big childish toy.Use it or lose it I say.I wouldnt swap sides to kill it,but I WOULD post its position to the other side.Let em sink it themselves.Thats no worse in my book than playing hitler and deciding that "I AM GOD.I SHALL DECIDE WHAT IS GOOD FOR EVERYONE.

I've been called a traitor, idiot, tard, studmuffin, etc... for reclaiming hidden cv's.  I hate CV hiding - I could care less about rank, so it's not possible to yank a cv back into action.  If the cv is not moved into action, then I get on the open channel and give coords to whomever it belongs to.  Gamey = teh suck.

The solution to this problem would be loosing your rank when you switch countries, that would put a serious dent in the treachery...

Am 367th and no nothing about side switchers.....as yet!

As for cv hiding it's a 100 % must.  You read me right.  IT HAS TO BE DONE.  Knights hid our (Bish) Cv away last 3 days.  Bish hid Rooks cv away also.

The reason it is done is strategiclly very SIMPLE.  For those that say it's GAY here's an analogy.  You guys are playing Tiddlywinks whilst the rest of us are playing Chess.

I'll try again but on another tact.  (They prolly think tiddlywinks is cool :rofl ).  You guys that think cv hiding as gay are prolly some guys that show up once or twice a week.  You have a "must do it now, can't wait" mentality.  I'de suggest you guy's resent not having the ability to park a cv off a base, saving you 5 min, to get into a furball.  You also must think " SCREW all the guys on my side" for blabbing about Cv position.  These guys should switch country for a month.  Half of uou guys can't think beyond "click fly".  Bit like chipping your tiddlywink with your counter.  "Chip chip"!.:lol

When a debate arrises about captured hidden cv's 85% of that country folk WANT it kept hidden..:aok  15% tiddlywinkers want the cv up there so they don't have to go so far...shame:rolleyes:

The only time I would advocate using a captured CV in an agressive forward position is when the enemy is in full retreator low on numbers +,1 full base behind captured port.  If the cv has been hidden 2 or 3 days chances are that cv ain't going to get into the action for 5 or 6 hrs.  So whats the point of moving it?

The above should get some comments.  If it's a game of tiddlywinks you want to bash me with pls wait mine are 30 yrs behind me:rolleyes:

Report from the field is in the early hours of July 16, Fox367th and Samnite of the 367th, under BISH command, plotted a course for CV20 and headed it toward a Knit base. This is the CV which we have been hiding from the Knits for a week. They then switched countries to Knights and sunk it with P38's thus giving it back to the Knits

Just noticed something wrong here.  CV 20 was a rook cv.  It came outta the port by A19.  If it was sunk it would have gone to ROOKS.  Would suggest you rethink this one.

As for side switchers I ain't seen these chaps to ask the question.

Lynx, I understand what you're saying, but htere have to be limits. Hiding CV for days upon days stops being chess and starts being unreasonable. When Bish take a Nit base, the Nits know where it is and can work to get it back. When the CV is taken, the benefit of capturing port is denied -- and there's nthing that can be done about it. That takes away from the game.

In basketball, similar strategy wsa used in past -- some teams would get ahead, then jsut pass the ball around teh four corners endlessly. Sound strategy, but imagine watching (or playing) that way for half a game. It was bad for the game, and they adjusted the riules to make it impossible to do.

Hiding the CV isnt chess, its keepaway -- a schoolyard prank used by bullies just because they can

I'm with you Oct

CV fights are probably the best in the game  both  launching from them, and defending against them, Why do these guys want to hide them ?

I can't speak for HTC but I would think they put them in the game to be used , not to be hidden away in the corners of the map, seems kind of pointless to me.

But I'm just a simple soul who likes good fights and tiddlywinks I guess.

No. You're playing with yourself while we are trying to have fun playing a game...

CVs are for having fun with / attacking. They are a good way to create (closer fields) furballs.

Do you really think HT modeled the CVs, had the graphics done for the CVs and put the CVs into the game so you could hide them in a corner???

edited...

Now take your chess pieces and go home stratboy.

PS... If you want to play chess, I'll beat.. er.. play you anytime.

I am the leader of 367th, and wasnt at all pleased to hear what happened, but its been delt with, and i'll leave it at that.

367th makes an effort to exude class with our virtual Allies and Opponents in this game, My apologies to those that were affected by this. By that, I mean the current operation at hand, not weather hiding CV's is good or bad.

Fariz...
I looked at some screenies of your comments on radio channel,
Not the best way to go about it IMO.

Those who send screenies has the film. If they send screenies to show some part of the talk, and hide other part of it -- they have something to hide. Ask them a film pls, and then judge it.
