I am sure that your bowing to terrorist demands will bring peace to Iraq.

What? I'm confused... what does that have to do with peace in Iraq... or Iraq at all?

He's saying it will show others that terrorism works, such as in the example of trying to get Western presence out of Iraq.

'Nothing' would be the answer to your question. The Phillipines were one of the nations in the '30 strong' coalition of the willing - i.e. a couple of dozen 'advisors' to make up the numbers.

On a sidenote, I'm surprised there was no comment on the Butler report regarding WMD published earlier this week concluding that intelligence about its existance was seriously flawed - but strangely no one was at fault. Which was nice for Bliar and co.

I'm sure thats what he was getting at, but I couldn't help but laugh when I read "no peace in Iraq."

There won't be regardless for a long time. In any event, I'd be more concerned with our mainland - and other's too - at this junction.

We might be in for a big bang this election year... or we might not, who knows. I do know this, bananas are not good to eat when they are brown and liquified.

The future of Iraq will not be affected by this pullout, but the future of the Phillippines will be.  The Phillippines are crawling with Moslem terrorists, and now they have seen how spineless the government is.

1- they help you

2nd they think its time to go...added that now they're targets too

and instead of thank you for the help WHILE it lasted.....

you bash em....

ask for help in the future again:aok

do you not see that by giving in to terrorist demands you are going to evoke more terrorist attacks.

I hardly see how because of this you assume the war was poorly planned?

Nope...

In this case... It's just as wrong as it was for them to give into the US's demands originally.

Damned if they do...

I wasn't talking about WHY they are pulling out....

just the fact that when they help all is cool....when THEY decide its over you bash em just because you do not agree with their timing of withdrawel...

why can't you just say thank you for the help and leave at that....but no.....bashing is more fun
