I hooked up my CombatStick USB tonight along with my existing CombatStick/Pro Throttle/Pedals rig and it works just fine.

With the new stick and a new throttle pot it's like a whole new game - no more spikes!

Now if CH could just hurry up with the Pro Throttle USB!!!

And if only they would implement trim axis for those TQS dials.

FunkedUp....

Can you send me your email address?

I'd like to chat about a list of some good historical and challenging plane match-ups, that could be set-up in Head to Head arenas.

So far, the 109f versus Spit 5 and F4U-1d versus A6M5b have been popular.  I'd like to keep the pairings as realistic as possible, so a bunch more (or groups) would be great.

Thanks

Regards,
Badger

Here is another good one for you Badger

La5FN versus Fw190A5 & Me109G6

Great fights, very balanced, and quite historical.

Hi Verm... <S>

Thanks, I would have never thought of that one.  I can see how it would be a great match up.  Would the 109g2 be added in there as well?

I bet between Funked and yourself, you could create a long list of great pairings.

A side thought, I wonder what HTC would charge to "rent" an arena to someone for events, much like renting a hall for a wedding?

I wonder if there's an incremental revenue marketing program where a corporate sponsor could pay for the setup and maintenance of a server for their own hosting purposes of specific events and plane sets?

Hmmm..... I wonder....

Regards,
Badger

sorry, Funked, didn't mean to hijack your thread.  I'm also waiting for the CH Throttle (USB).  Looks like a winner.

And now back to your regularly scheduled thread.....

What Funked said! I got my USB Pro Pedals in the mail yesterday, and now I have Duel Throttles and Toe Brakes! Wow, USB sure is smooth and accurate! The rudder actually stays put when deflected now! I can't wait for the Fighterstick USB, not sure about the USB Pro Throttle yet, looks like you give up a hat switch for that funky 'mini joystick' on it, not sure if I would like it or not. Waiting for more detail about it before I decide, but it looks like (from the pics I have seen) that it is identical dimension and layout wise and it's guts should fit into my duel throttle setup with no mods  .
