Is it something wrong with g10 or is just me ?
it look slower, climb like p-40, accelerate like hurri and in general is not the p-51 killer  witch was supposed to be (and indeed was ).

No, it's just you. :)
The G-10 climbs at 4500fpm the P40 barely manages to exceed 3k f/min. It also outclimbs the Pony at most relevant altitudes and technically does indeed outaccelerate it. The Mustang, however, holds E and accelerates in dives very well and this can give the impression of being outrun.
Keep your altitude, maintain level flight or maybe even climb a bit and wait for the pony to bleed his E and then dive on him. You'll catch him unless he had a huge energy advantage to begin with.
The G-10's strength is to generate Energy/Altitude quicker than anything else in the game (with the exception of the Spitfire Mk14)

Is this a hook in my mouth?

IMHO Bf109G10 become even better in AH2

I really heve no problmes with it:
  • It still has suprior climb ratio - but when you test it remember it climbs much better with WEP (and you have 9 min of it).
  • It has suprior firepower - 30mm in intercepter role and 3x20mm with excelent ballistics in fighter role.
  • The range has significantly improved in AH2 (that was the weakest 109g10 point in AHI) specially with E6B.
  • It has suprior speed specially above 10K when even La7 can't catch you.

It is still one of the best planes in the game.

The G-10 is kickass in AH2, if anything it is better than it was in AH1.

The 30mm doesn't seem to hit as hard as it did in AH1, but other than that the plane is awesome.

IMHO the most important improvement of Bf109G10 in AH2 is its flight range.........
In AH1 I was mostly RTB on fuel.....
In AH2 I RTB mostly on Ammo (and land kills)  ;)

I've noticed some small changes, but I think they are not in the G10.  The changes I notice are in the P51 and Spit (9 I guess).  But those planes are so common that you might think your G10 has changed. :)  Fighting against la7s, nikis, 38s, and others I notice no change from AH1.  But for the Spit and Pony--

Spit--Dives better than before.  I used to be able to really leave them in the dust, now it takes longer.

Pony--Goes faster.  I used to be able to catch up with any pony unless we were completely co-E and *right* on the deck.  Now the Pony's speed curve seems to have fattened out in the lower alts.

Still, the differences in both cases are small enough that I may be imagining things, and of course each situation is different with regard to relative E-states.

Whan I mention when fighting 109G-10 vs P-51D
Advantages of Bf109G-10
  • Bf109G-10 is faster at altitues more then 10K
  • Bf109G-10 has 9 min wep vs 5 min - that means if even Pony is running - his engine will overheat much faster and then 109 will close on it without problems
  • Clib ratio...... No questions 109G10 climbs almost 1.0-1.3K/min faster then Pony - and allways can use its ability to get in fight in E advantage
  • Bf109G-10 has better turn ratio at mid-low speeds - however turn ratio migh be worster in case of 3x20mm 100% fuel vs Pony with - 25%-50% fuel (but anyway I not gonna turnfight in 109)
  • Acceleration - no questions - Bf109G-10 much better
  • Bf109G-10 is very stable at low speeds - it is possible to control it at vertical using rudder at speeds abot 100mph without getting in spin (BTW I do not use stall limiter or combat trim). Even in danger of stall/spin active rudder input recovers it easy
Advantages of P-51D
  • Has much higher dive speeds - it allows it extend fast in case of danger or engage without loosing too much E
  • Has much better roll ratio
  • Has better turn ability at high speeds with combat flaps - but it burns too much E in it - must be used very carefully
  • Slightly faster at low speed..... OOOOOPS EDIT altitude
  • Has better guns ballistics in case 109 uses 30mm gun (but I personally do not and use 3x20mm that is really great package)
  • Great bubble cocpit

It is my personal vision of it.......
Bf109G-10 is my bird - and I do not really like P-51D - however if you know P-51D well......... I don't

I luv teaching Spits the danger of climbing up to a 109.

The look of amazement in their face as I use superior E to out turn them and take shots with the tater tosser is priceless!

I love the G10, especially when I'm intercepting HQ-raiding bombers. Shot down 3 about 2 days ago, and I still had plenty of ammo left.

My favorite thing about the G10 is its characteristics. It accelerates like nothing else, out-climbs the P-51D, and It's very fast above 10k. Flight time is limited, but nothing beats it at short range (so long as you know how to fly it).
