Has the Mk108 30mm hit power been degraded in AH2?

I think all the hit power has been reduced somewhat in AH2.  Well that's my impression anyway.   Gunnery itself feels the same, but it seems like it's taking me more ammo to actually damage things.

I agree J_A_B.  Seems like everything takes more hits, which I kinda like, although a couple very well placed rounds will still remove something vital from the target.  However the gunnery feels quite different to me.  I haven't tried 30mm's yet.

NS-37 still only takes one hit to kill nearly anything.

I'll be sad if the other "elephant gun" has been reduced at all.

I was having good luck with it in the Beta though, so I'm not really sure. Also, since I'm always riging 2x 20mms at the same time, I can never tell what I'm hitting with.

one hit still takes a fighter down, unless it is an engine hit, which just kills the engine.

Bombers do seem a bit tougher--especially the ju88

Sikboys right, 37mm works 1 shot kill for all but buffs.

Might take a few to drop them depending on where you hit.

ps, ,where you setting convergience for that 30mm?

Try setting it 50 longer than the 20mm, or 100 longer than the mg's.

It has been my experience that yes, it has been.  

I talked to Pyro and he said he didn't see how it would have happened, but I've hit folks on multiple occasions 1 time and not done any significant damage.  Hitting near the engine for me usually results in a oil leak, not a dead engine.  

It has gone from a 1 hit weapon with 2 hits needed sometimes, to a 2 hit weapon, with 3 or 4 hits needed sometimes.  On fighters anyway.  

Haven't noticed much of a change vs bombers, but they are usually going so slow and straight that I can aim at the cockpit and hit it.

I've only used it a few times since AH2 came out.  All against fighters and all one hit one kill.

Still, not a big enough statistical sample to really mean anything.

I went in on one spitty with a g10, put about 20MG rounds in him, then tapped the cannon button twice, looked like 2 pings on the left wing and he flew away...

But in that same flight I had 2 pings right behind the cockpit of a spitIX and ripped the plane in half.

It does seem like it takes more rounds to kill now, but I think it is across the board, and some nights are better than others, so I just chalk it up to network difficulties...

Side note:
In the ARMY when you enlist they take all but 8 of your brain cells, and you have to turn one more in each time you get promoted......
