MT.. I applaud the fact that you put your personal politics asside in order to give your son the best information you can.

Now.. if a right winger did a documentary that was based on an erroneous book and then he twisted it even more and used missleading interviews and out of context scenes for the sole purpose of giving the wrong impression.... I'm pretty darn sure that I will be among the first to call BS.

If the lie woulda been smaller it would have went over better but... they never seem to grasp that.

No Lazs..I will encourage him to form opinions of his own..whether they are intelligent or misplaced...To enforce your own views while he is forming his ability to express them is "brainwashing"..so you said.

I think the political commentary was just the last straw for the attendees. prior to that, L was turning in a lack-luster performance, at best, and didn't perform the kind of music that the crowd was lead to expect. And, she made it very clear to the audience she had no intentions of performing as billed. That's what really got the audience hot. The political speech was just the match that sparked the already stoked crowd. I'm really dissapointed in her. She was always one of my very fovorite female singers. Sad, it is.

Sorry SirLoin but that is simply so silly. What use are you then as a parent if you refuse to at least guide your kids or point out some of the things you may have learned..

What would you do if your kid came back one day and said he/she was all for harrasing, oh lets say, asian immigrants?
