RJOs dont have to be about resets. Some Guys will remember the huge B17 HQ Raid that had launched around 100 B17s (before formations) or a Mini RJO "AM, FM" With a large attack in Zeros and Wildcats.
Oh yeah, I remember that RJO, about 2 1/2 years ago. The Rooks put up about 100 B-17s, and that was BEFORE we had 3 plane formations. I flew escort and it was truly a sight to behold.
I also remember several RJOs where we had less players than one side, and we still rolled them back. That's the difference teamwork can make. Defined mission goals, solid tactics and back then, the Rooks were the smallest country, but the root core of Rooks had many exceptional pilots. Every tour back then showed the Rooks to have a considerable advantage in K/D vs the Knits and Bish. Now, with the Rooks usually having a manpower advantage it's hard to tell if that has changed or if it hasn't, is it based upon numbers or skilled pilots, or both? I suspect that numbers have kept the K/D lopsided, but go back two years ago and the Rooks, barely able to muster 100 players during prime time, were a tough bunch to tangle with.
This tour:
The Rooks have 60242 kills and have been killed 48079 times against the Bishops.
The Rooks have 55460 kills and have been killed 47935 times against the Knights.
Tour 27, back when the Rooks were usually outmanned by 50%:
The Rooks have 66641 kills and have been killed 59679 times against the Bishops.
The Rooks have 62577 kills and have been killed 58255 times against the Knights.
Go back a year ago to tour 42 when the Rooks finally had parity or better and the numbers skewed even more.
The Rooks have 122774 kills and have been killed 95352 times against the Bishops.
The Rooks have 100083 kills and have been killed 84013 times against the Knights.
Notice that the Knights always did notably better than the Bish, even in tour 42:
The Knights have 111649 kills and have been killed 105785 times against the Bishops. Even in the current tour, where the Knits are almost always outnumbered by the Bish: The Knights have 44213 kills and have been killed 42230 times against the Bishops.
There's several years of the data available and it certainly shows a trend. However, it's impossible to factor exactly how numbers skew the scoring. Why? Because, even when outnumbered, both the Rooks and Knits have consistantly scored better than the Bishops.
Do we have any statisticians here who can discern a specific pattern? I mean beyond the Bish simply being kinda sucky!

My regards,
