...looks great.

And much closer to WB one, still being a 3D.

Now, let's get the right 109 cockpit. Not this roomy and wide P 47 style one, but the real, cramped cockpit, with armor glass in front, scratched metal surfaces, historical instruments, dials, levers, valve openers, moving stick and rudder pedals.

Then let's get metric gauges and it will be just fine

The new cockpit looks great. and the changes to the Spit itself are very nice. Thank you Superfly!!
I compared the new cockpit: http://www.hitechcreations.com/pyro/sptckpt.gif
with the old: http://www.hitechcreations.com/images/spit2.gif
and even though they look alot alike the new one is much more refined and oh so much better. Different res and new textures helped too

To be honest I look another look at the artistic 2D cockpits of EAW or Janes and I'd much rather have these because they do loog really good but better yet they are 3D.

EAW and WW2 Fighters are 3D! Nothing beats the Jane's cockpits, except the custom stuff made for SDOE.

Ummm....did anyone notice how much ammo that spit was carrying? 3000+ rounds of cannon fire?? And Superfly's not getting 20 kills a mission??

Juzz, it must be my eyes then. I prefer the AH cockpit I see in 1280X1024 hi res than the cockpits in AW, WB's Janes or EAW.
Here they are clearer and have a better defintion for me. Honestly. Has nothing to do with brand loyalty or blind allegiance.
I can't fly AW or WB's with the same feel anymore and I hardly ever fly off line in EAW or Janes anyway to behonest. I've seen screen shots someone has posted recently of a cockpit in offline sim and I much prefer AH than those.

Thanks for the compliments guys. That shot was taken from a debug version. I don't fly with that much ammo. I promise! I wish I did sometimes.
