Well my opinion, Terry Brooks is basically JRR Tolken with alot more details in his books.

From what I've been reading, seems this Paul "Voss" Hinds guy is a pretty decent fantasy writer.

Gibson wrote several but none in a series that I've read. You guys are bringing back a lot of memories. These memories might be spoiled by a movie that didn't give the proper attention and respect to many of the titles mentioned. Most are probably better off left as books.

Heinlein's 'The Door Into Summer' is an excellent book too, very touching.  It'd make a good film.

For the person who mentioned H. Beam Piper, what about the Fuzzies?  :D  I have a couple of prints of Fuzzy art from the guy who did the book covers framed in my house, great stuff.
