LOL... I recall that fight.. tho I have not checked the films.

Grunz bolted; left Nath alone and unprotected down low; tangoing with Thunder. I let Grunz go (he just kept grabbin away); and came down to give 'ol Thunder a hand. Thunder was doin the B n Z bit; I rolled my sleeves up and saddled that 109 up. Hammered away at him; but between poor aim and messed up gun dispersion I was unable to make it stick. After a spectacular scissors reverse move on naths part (He does stuff in a 109 I've never seen anyone else in any plane do..) I lost the saddle and went defensive.

I recall starting an extension/drag to set him up for Thunders comeback, but that's when soccer-boy Grunz showed up again... and Thunder was off about d3; assuming I had Nath bagged; gettin set for Grunz. If I remember that one right; I augered... mad as hell. I always get pissed when my wingie wanders away... not Thunders fault tho, he ahd problems of his own. The fault mine; for missing Nath.

Nath, ol son; you fly a hell of a fight. Don't ever recall besting you.. in any circumstances. I have a healthy respect for you abilities, but repectfully suggest that the edge of the envelope you nomally fly in is well beyond my poor abilities to track or visualise.

In essence I think I'm flying an airplane; bound by the laws of physics and the dynamics of flight. Your evasive patterns and manuver profiles defy all of those basic precepts that are ingrained in me by the dogma of air combat as I know it.. you bring something new to the fight.

You seem to flying in a diffrent medium than air; in a vehicle unbound by stress dynamics (roll rate reversals and direction changes that are beyond the flight capabilities of anything I ever saw fly) which I must in lack of knowledge attribute to my poor frame rate; poor grahics; poor processor and the vagaries of a 56k modem connect. Or it could be just my tired old eyes and slow as pork old man reflexes.

<S!> Nath. Nice job.

just fyi, the 109G10 and 190A8 aren't exactly turners.

All those kills you have against me aren't when I was fighting you, rather you shot me when I wasn't paying attention to you.

Thats cool though, cuz I know by heart that all the times I've encountered 13th TAS at disadvantage I've won... I recall a fight around A29 area a few weeks ago where I was chasing thunder on the deck then Yeager came up behind me (was 2v1 from the get go), I killed Yeager then dispatched thunder.  I'm sure you remember this.

LOL Washed-Up.. yer right. It started out as a lament against ponys that run; but turned into a chest thumpin, using films of ponys that didn't.

Oh well.
