Hello everyone. I'm not quitting. and just some ramblings

After reading several "I quit" postings, I have to agree with those who think telling everyone on this board that you're quitting is a silly waste of time, unless there are other motives... It's weird. If I were quitting, I would just do it.. Period. Unless of course I planned on coming back.  I was here in the beginning, then I had to leave for a while (wife wouldn't let me spend the money  .. now I'm back because this is, for me, worth every penny.. I have met some great people as I did on AW3, and for me there is no better way to get my ww2 fix... I don't understand someone squeaking about the flight model of a bomb.. So what if it's not perfect? Everyone deals with it. I for one, love this game.. There are many more wasteful things I could do with $30. This is for those of us who love this piece of history. Anyway, my point is nothing is perfect. This is an extremely enjoyable game. The other night Caveman called on some B26s to do a low level bomb run. Even though I was shot down in the end, it was one of the funnest, most intense things I've done yet.. flying on the deck up and down through the canyons.. It was a blast! Thank god it wasn't perfectly realistic or I would not have gotten off the ground!. There has to be a balance. I never complain about someone flying a n1k, or f4uc.. I don't understand the concept of dweeb.. It's a game!!!! Hello!
I'm also excited to see my old AW3 squad forming up here.. It's getting interesting now
I'm soooo excited about the future.. being able to fly from a carrier, etc... Quit if you want.. just go away..
Sorry that this was one big babble, but I don't post much.. I don't whine much. I just love to play..

Refreshing post indeed!  Welcome back.

I think those that quit in a fluster you will find that in their personal lives, they quit certain things there too in a fluster, whether it be on their marriage, their kids, their job, its "always someone elses fault" mentality.

<S> Redbaron   I was glad to see you return!

And also glad to see your post. I agree 100%. I'll always try to <salute> and say ""Hurry on back" to someone who leaves for RL reasons be they time, job, $$$ or gear being broken.  Others? I pay no mind unless they echo my own sentiments. Which no one really has yet.   and still left.

I feel the majority of sticks feel the same as you do Red. That's why alot of us have to stand back and scratch our heads sometimes.

Great post RBN!  These points ring true for those that fly here to have fun and to get a feel for the history that most of us missed when it was being made.
