What they dont show is the muzzle flash of a 30mm gun, which turns the whole plane (shooter) into a flying fireball until the trigger is released

Oh yes Oleg's dumb hydrogen bomb explosion at midnight muzzle flashes.... That has been a constant complaint since the first relese of IL2 and the stubborn old commie simply refuses to change it...

It still lloks like crap, like a cartoon. It reminds me of that hideus blown up bubble P51 graphic thing Voss had around a few years back...

One thing I can't seem to understand is why the figures in the B-29 all have on jumpsuits and masks. Wasn't the B-29 a pressurized aircraft.

Im with Grunhurtx. The textures are bad on the B29. We have all seen natural metal aircraft and they dont look like that.
Its like it has a photoshop "terminator 2000" special effect done on it.
The detailed picture looks worse not better.
