In AH2 I RTB mostly on Ammo (and land kills)  ;)

Is the E6B feature part of the reason for the new result?

i lived off p51's in AH2.  They were easy targets imo.  maybe i never ran into the good p51 pilots.

1.  Run them down make em turn and snapshot them. works because at speed the 109 has a very tight turn radius.

2.again turn radias is very nice at fast speed.  you should get the time to get a quick snapshot off in the led you get.

It also helped me in case I short on fuel.....
Now using E6B I can significantly increase edurnece of flight in case I missed that I do not have much......
But anyway - I still had not needed to RTB on fuel (I still allways roll with 100%+DT) it is significant improve IMHO

"Bf109G-10 has 9 min wep vs 5 min - that means if even Pony is running - his engine will overheat much faster and then 109 will close on it without problems "
In AH yes.

"Bf109G-10 has better turn ratio at mid-low speeds "
IMHO, not so. At least I keep turning with the 109G10 in a P51, and in the reverse situation getting outturned by 51's....
It was very interesting to carry out the flight trials at Rechlin with the Spitfire and the Hurricane. Both types are very simple to fly compared to our aircraft, and childishly easy to take-off and land. (Werner Mölders)

Angus, read up to the end.......
I really have no problem to follow P-51D in light 109G10........ at mid/low speeds

for course I wouldn't try to outturn 109 in pony I'd use more barrel roll using pony's roll ratio advantage.......

I agree somewhat, but I think they are pretty close.  The 51 wins by a small margin in non-blackout-limited turns.  Small enough that if the G10 is on your six, you can't get out of dodge just by turning like you can with a spit or niki.  But if you are on the G10s six, he definitely can't get away by turning.
