Tap Your Feet in the Microsoft Mud

Gotta hand it to MS Flight Sim 2004 -- maybe no bullets flying around, but it has enough to do to make it a career.

E.g., loaded add-on Waco biplane with floats, landed it on a narrow river and ran aground in mud at edge.  Left pontoon was stuck about halfway in the mud (with water washing in around it).

Full power just made things worse.  So moved throttle up and down to gently rock it, used opposite rudder, went around in circles until got to enough water to straighten out, and voila!  Water spray and Waco is floating its boat again.

That's way more cool than I expected.  As is exploring various scenarios like landing in bowls like some of the Aces High fields.

MSFS 2004 is nice complement to Aces High.

Flown in the VATSIM multiplayer netwok.
It does have some interesting aspects.. like actual ATC, flight planning, flying the thing along the flightpland with ATC..

If you are getting paid, hoorah, otherwise, I do not get it...
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

for the same reason you in aces high takeoff, shoot em up, get shot / land... rinse & repeat.
I got bored of that! :D

It's more interesting with live ATC on a multiplayer network.
Before that its good to make a flightplan and then follow all the procedures along the way..

They should put some Hispano's on the LearJets.  That  would be a game!
