I think it would be useful if everyone could please post the video card they are using successfully with AHII. This thread can then be used as a quick reference/poll for those needing to upgrade. (me) Add any stats/specs you think are useful.

nVidia GeForce 4 MX440---PCI version

FR:
Best so far: 60(Monitor set at 60 Hz; could do better)
Average: ~35-40
Furball of 25-30 planes in close proximity: 18-24

PCI is the one that time forgot. Go AGP; this card is in both slot types

Radeon X800XT
Frame Rates - Have gotten up to 700 (even tho monitor can't handle that much) with 150-200 in furballs. Around 100 with VSync turned on
Format - AGP Slot
Price - $500

Pricey but worth it. :)

It came with the puter I built. Plus AH isnt the only game I play. I play some othe soldier based games from time to time, not much tho. It's worth it if you broaden your gaming horizon passed AH. Not everyone is dedicated to AH only ya know. :p

worth it??? for ah2 no!! Maybe for ah10. You have to be rich. My system that I am buying cost $500. If you just bought to play ah2 most of the time. You went overkill.

If you read 1 post right above yours, you will see I already answered your question before you even asked it regarding "other games". :D
