Formal policy on which variants artwork is allowed
« on: July 26, 2004, 03:22:19 PM »
Is there one?

For example the P47D has three variants modelled in the game (11/25/40) so if someone makes a skin for a P47D that is not one of those 3 is it allowed? Or is a Bf109F2 or F4 allowed in place of our F6? How about trop versions since we don't have the trop filters in the 3D model? Or the F6F-3 art on top of our F6F-5?

I am still hoping my 190D13 will be allowed to go on the 190D9 model.

Good luck, been trying to get an answer on this type of thing for a while. Only one I know is that they will accept Spit 8 skins for Spit 9.

I remember somebody, somewhere, on the HTC staff saying trop skins on normal planes would be allowed. Can't remember the exact quote, but I think the gist of it was " that'd be cool" or something
