Where'd they go
« on: July 27, 2004, 02:22:29 PM »
High flyive guys ,
As with many of you ,I also flew "old school" back in aol days ,and gamestorm ect . Alltho I was an awc junky .  I have been out of saddle for about 4 years now . The bush of alaska dosn't have the best internet conect there ever was lol , go figure.
I went to dL the game online yesterday but at 4 hrs + it wasn't practical , the boots , they run rampate up here . So i'm stuck waiting on the cd . " mail up here still go's by dogsled , or so it would seem"
But I hope to be up and running soon "Back in the saddle again".
Was hopeing to find old freinds in the mean time . I flew under x1100 shadow , shadow warrior and mufasa , was a member of the \\\ELITES/// or sumtin close lol .  Some of the names I remember , Slugm ,2flie ,LSD , buggy , Speed , sky-j  , not all in the same squad mind u .
So if anyone remembers me drop me a line .

                          tonyB <-----that would be me

Sluggo hasn't flown for awhile, 2flie I think is still in the Army and might be deployed somewhere, LSD flies and haven't seen Buggy, Speed or Sky-J since moving to AH.

If I remember correctly you were with the Elites back when they were still in Classic AW.   At the time I was with the Red Dawn and we'd do some co-op missions with you guys from time to time, especially during AIRBOSS.  I'd also wing with some of the Elites if none of my squaddies were up, that's how I remember you.  Always had fun flying with the Elites with Sluggo in his SlugWulf and 2flie in his P-47 Jug O' Giggles...err Death.

Gona order the cd for this next week . Is it  AH2 i'm looking for or just AH .

This has been worse than a long winter with a Harley sitting in the living room .

shot down mufasa twice the other day, mabey speed but its probably a common name, but i definately remember mufasa because the first time i killed him i mentioned his name on my squad channel and one of my fellow player's who's been around alot longer than me said he knew that name and that he remembered he was preety good, unfortunatley mustafa had seemed to be away from the game for a long time because he followed me back to base after the first time i killed him and i killed him rather easy the second time too... one word, practice!:aok
