How Do You Break Up 65MB CD?

Ok, a friend of mine downloaded an entire CD - and when he listens to it on his CD that he burned, it doesnt have tracks, its just one long "song". Is there a way to break it down into the individual songs on the CD (for a non-MP3 playing CD Player)?

There are some sound editor programs that should be able to cut it up.

You can use Goldwave to do that. You may need an mp3 encoder, they provide a link to a free one, lame.

This may be a new protection for the music.

If you have tried to burn a copy of the new Velvet Revolver cd (not that I have since it is illegal) you end up with a single track cd that will play all the songs.

As Nimitz said, you can't go to the next track or go back and must listen to the entire cd even if you only want to listen to the last track.
