...are good for you.  Main thing it does is help your body use insulin more efficiently.   Insulin levels are the determining factor in how fast you age.  Everyone who has lived past 100 has had one thing in common, low insulin levels.  So drink up!

I thought aging had to do with oxidants also known as free radicals that destroy cells thus causing the aging process. Thats why its good to have antioxidents like in vitamins etc... Everytime you breath, you age basicaly. How does insulin affect this?

http://www.mercola.com/2003/feb/8/longevity.htm

Biologists have been able to extend certain animals life-spans several times by feeding a very low calorie diet.  Which in turn means low insulin levels.  The ultimate factor in longevity of life is how many times your DNA can replicate.  Each time replication takes place, the DNA spindle gets a bit shorter.

I got my info from some health mag. That info you posted is news to me although I did figure that at some point the dying of cells was greater then the regeneration of cells. I drink lotsa beer so I'll probably live to 100.

Nilsen, its probably better to have three glasses a day. Did you know that Adolph Galland started each morning with a glass of wine and some raw eggs.

;)

It's the Buffalo Theory.  The buffalo herd can only run as fast as its slowest member.  Kill off the slow one, and the herd is faster.

Beer kills off the weakest cells, so the brain that is left is on average quicker and more intellegent.

Ugh why drink it if it doesn't have any alcohol :(
It's been said we have three brains, one cobbled on top of the next. The stem is first, the reptilian brain; then the mammalian cerebellum; finally the over developed cerebral cortex.  They don't work together in awfully good harmony - hence ax murders, mobs, and socialism.

Only 2 whines a day? In that case, a lot of people in this game are way over the recommended daily whine allowance.
